FCC Information

The FCC requires licensing for UHF and VHF business radios. The DTR Series radios do not require a license as they operate on 900 mHZ digital band.

The FCC's most updated narrowband mandate, which took effect on January 1, 2013, states that all radios must be operating at 12.5 MHz bandwidth (old bandwidth was 25 kHz) and all FCC licenses must be updated.
